I am forever on the hunt for a good under eye concealer. It's a struggle to find a product that doesn't cake up in the fine lines that I have. So far, this product is winning by a long shot. The Wake Me Up Concealer by Rimmel was designed to have the same anti-fatigue effect as the matching foundation.
The product is a liquid concealer and while I found it didn't do much for covering blemishes, it works great for brightening up my under-eye area. I currently use the shade Ivory, as I like to use a lighter shade for an added brightening effect.
The Wake Me Up Concealer does have a limited shade range with 3 colors to choose from - Ivory, Soft Beige and Classic Beige. However, the shades blend beautifully into the skin so most skin types should be able to find a shade that suits them best.
You can grab the Wake Me Up Concealer from Priceline for $14.95 but if you're happy with buying online, you can snap it up for a bargain $6.93 at the moment via the website Asos (click here).

Inspired by Nicole Richie's childhood, his versatile scent can be worn throughout different seasons, bright and pretty enough for summer and spring yet sexy and adult enough to get you through those colder months. It is feminine but I would also describe it as slightly masculine with hints of Vanilla, Morrocan Rose, Golden Amber, Blackberry and Sandalwood.
If you're not a fan of the scent, the beautiful bottle alone is worth the purchase (but let's be honest - you are going to fall in love with this one!).

Getting into the warmers months, my lips begin to need the love of a good lip balm. The Nivea Lip Butter is perfect for me because it melts quickly into lips after application, which means there is not much time for me to go ahead and accidentally lick it off.
There are 3 different varieties of the Lip Butters. I have mine in Caramel Cream and it smells AMAZING. The product doesn't have a taste (which is probably a good thing or we would be scooping it out of the tub to eat!). You can also purchase the unscented version or Vanilla and Macadamia.
The formula contains the following goodies:
shea butter and hydra IQ
long lasting hydration
almond oil
helps to re-hydrate dry lips
The product does a great job of leaving my lips smooth and hydrated. I apply the product before I apply my makeup, allowing time for it to sink in before applying lip products at the end of the process.
However, if you apply to much product you will notice that it leaves a white sheen and it can be a little difficult to rub in (as seen in the last photo). Start off small and build if more is needed.
I purchase my Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream from Priceline for $4.19 (on sale at the moment - reg price $5.69)

L'oreal NutriLift Gold Foundation
I'm sure we all took advantage of the recent L'oreal sale at Priceline - am I right? I was in the market for a new foundation and went along to try some out. Recently a lot of my foundations had been turning a little orange during the day. I actually had my eyes on the Infallible foundation but I was steered towards the NutriLift by the lovely makeup artist.
I was matched as shade 150 'Creamy Beige'. It is an anti-ageing foundation and while I wasn't particularly looking for anything with anti ageing properties, it can't hurt to start early!
The NutriLift foundation contains 5 anti-ageing ingredients such as collagen Vitamin C and pro retinol. It also ticks the sun protection box with a massive SPF20 included! The foundation claims to reduce wrinkles and fine lines overtime, helping your skin to appear smoother and more radiant.
Whilst I haven't noticed any difference in any lines or wrinkles that I may have at the age of 24, I do love the radiant finish it gives my skin with each use. The formula is creamy and has a slight sunscreen scent to it. I found that the coverage was quite good however if you want something fuller, it does look quite nice over the top of a BB cream as well.
However, for beauties on a budget you will need to take the price tag in consideration because at $39.95 this foundation isn't cheap!

Lash Lift
If you haven't heard of a lash lift, don't worry - neither had I until I stepped into my regular beauty salon for some much needed eyebrow maintenance where I noticed the new poster on the wall introducing the process of Lash Lifting.
Lash Lifting that defines and curls the lashes from the root. It's is suitable for nearly all lash types whether you have smaller lashes or longer lashes! The process is relatively quick, completely painless and seemed super easy for the beautician. The results last for 6-8 weeks and require little to no maintenance.
The treatment began with me entering the treatment room with no eye makeup on. I was then asked to lie down on the waxing bed where my bottom lashes where covered. This is to make sure that the bottom lashes don't get caught up in the curling process - you don't want curly bottom lashes sticking into your eyes for the next 6-8 weeks.
Silicone pads where adhered to my eyelids and the beautician then began to stick my lashes up onto the silicone pads. This part can be the trickiest for the beautician and the part where you should really notice them taking their time to arrange and adhere the lashes to the silicone - you don't want to end up with clumping or crossed over lashes! I had the option to choose from 3 different curl sizes - the smaller the silicone pad, the bigger the curl. We decided that because my eyelashes are quite long, it would look amazing with a bigger curl.
The next steps involved the application some different gels that help to create the finished look. The entire process took roughly 30-45 minutes and I must admit, it was a little hard to keep my eyes closed the whole time and the perming gel smelt awful! However it was only on my lashes for 7 minutes and the end result is worth it.
I chose to have my eyelashes tinted after the Lash Lift treatment and I would highly recommend this extra process for anyone thinking about getting theirs done. It just adds a little extra to the finished look.
For the first 24 hours after having the Lash Lift there are a few things that I was asked to remember to rub my eyes, not to apply creams or mascara, not to use a sauna or facial steamer and don't go swimming. After the 24, you can do anything you wish to your newly curled lashes!
You can see in my below photos how natural the process looks once completed. It's like I've curled and applied some mascara (with zero clumpiness! woo hoo!)
Have you heard of this process or had it done yourself? What did you think of the results?

Sanctuary Spa Hot Sugar Scrub
I'm a new lover of the Sanctuary Spa brand. After using (and loving) the Warming Microbrasion Polish, I was intrigued about the Hot Sugar Scrub. The beautifully scented scrub has a milky texture that heats up as it makes contact with your skin.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this product and be warned, you will probably get a shock when you first apply and start massaging this into the skin. You'll notice a sudden burst of heat when applied. Although the heat doesn't last for very long, I find that it's a really soothing sensation (especially after a long day or if you have any sore muscles). I would suggest a test patch on a small area of skin as there may be some of you who won't enjoy the sensation.
The scrub left my skin feeling immediately softer and I can still feel that softness for the next few days after using. If you love body scrubs and the idea of a warming product doesn't scare you, I would highly suggest picking one up. I am sure that this is going to be a must-have in my bathroom!

Max Factor Clump Defy mascara
The Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara is one of the latest "false lash effect" mascaras to hit the shelves. It's described as a clump-free volumising mascara which evenly defines and separates lashes. I loved this mascara from the start. It really does lengthen, define and separate the lashes. As a contact lens/glasses wearer, I tend to have sensitive eyes, so I really look for a mascara that doesn't flake or smudge, both of which this mascara doesn't do.
The tightly packed, evenly spaced bristles on the brush help to stop clumps as the mascara is applied to the lashes. Although there is no doubt that this is a great mascara, I'm a little unsure if I like the look of perfectly separated lashes on my eyes. I don't know if it has that same 'false lash' look that other mascaras such as the Maybelline Falsies has. The Maybelline Falsies doesn't define the lashes as much and gives me a fuller looking lash finish. I do love wearing this on days when I want a more natural look and I don't want that dramatic lash look. The brush is perfect for getting into tight places and works wonders when trying to get mascara onto the bottom lashes.
I also noticed that as this mascara ages it tends to create a few clumps. You can see in the photos below that there are a few clumps on some of my lashes. I am guilty of leaving lids off previous mascaras to make them dry out a little (does anyone else hate wet mascaras?!) so they are easier to work with but this one was perfect from the start and seems a little harder to work with the older it gets.
