L’Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Mascara Primer Base

The L'Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Mascara Primer Base (what a mouthful!) is a lovely little product designed to give you a false lash effect.

The product contains tiny fibres that attach to your natural lashes, adding length and volume.

The primer can be applied under any of your favourite at-home mascaras.

The fibres work by forming a network and attaching to your lashes.

The formula contains goodies such as reconstructing Omega-Ceramide, Natural palm and jojoba oils to help nourish lashes and fortifying Pro-vitamin B5.

After applying, the formula works to lock in these goodies and helps protect damage from repeated eye make-up application and removal.

The following pictures show the application of the Mascara Primer Base.

The above photos show my eye with zero products applied.

The lashes are free from all eye products including primer or mascara.

The product is a bit scary looking if you've never used a mascara primer before.

In the above photos you can slightly see the fibres on the brush.

Apply the product like you would a normal mascara.

You will notice the difference in length straight away.

I like to wait a few seconds before applying my coats of regular mascara, otherwise I find the colour tends to be less intense, or can even turn out a greyish shade because it's mixed in with the white.

The mascara I used was Maybelline Falsies mascara.

The product is a little pricey at $27.95, but I think it's worth a shot if you're looking to get longer lashes.
