product of the day

I tried this one out while I was in the shower this morning and I am impressed!
Exfoliating is a big part of my beauty regin. I love that smooth, soft 'ive just exfoliated' feeling.

The deep pore scrub features Willowbark extract which contains natural Beta Hydroxy Acids which work as a natural skin exfoliants to help unplug follicles and pores.

Here is a short blurb from the Burt's Bees website:

Keep your skin peachy clean. This natural sulfate-free facial cleanser rich with finely ground peach stone naturally and gently exfoliates to remove excess oil, dirt and dead skin cells leaving skin soft and smooth. Willow bark and golden seal extracts, known for their astringent properties, and ginger and sea algae extracts help to revitalise your skin and replenish essential minerals, leaving your face deeply clean and naturally nourished.

My skin was so, so soft after using this and I love the mild peachy 'natural' smell that it has.
It has a gorgeous creamy texture and a nice exfoliant feel, without being too rough or course on the skin.

I was quite a fan of the St Ives Apricot Scrub, as I'm sure alot of readers are too. But I find that the exfoliants in the St Ives scrubs are alot smaller and grittier whereas the exfoliants in the Burt's Bees scrub tend to be larger and more massaging on my face (yet still giving that freshly scrubbed feel).

It will be sure to stay my 'reach for' product in the shower for awhile!

You can get this product from a range of places. I've commonly seen it on the shelves at Priceline.

Happy scrubbing, beauties!
