Make Up For Ever HD Foundation

You've probably all heard the hype surrounding this foundation.
Youtubers and beauty gurus all over the place have been raving about it for some time now, but for us Australians it can be really difficult getting your hands on one for yourself.

Recently, a special company based in Adelaide gave me the amazing chance to try out the HD Foundation and let you guys know what I thought.

Media Makeup Store is one of the few places in Australia that we are able to get this foundation from. They sell the Make Up For Ever cosmetics range, as well as a range of cosmetics accessories such as brushes and equipment.

The foundation is a medium to full coverage and I find that it covers pretty much all of my marks and imperfections such as redness, acne scarring and small marks. I still use the help of a concealer just to get a bit of coverage, but mostly under the eyes to cover my dark circles. The formula is buildable without being cakey, so if you find that you need to apply more than one 'coat' then go ahead! It will still remain natural and won't feel like you have layer upon layer of foundation. I would think that this foundation will look amazing on those who already have great skin - this is just going to enhance that and make it look stunning.

I wear this all day and into the night and find that it has great staying power. The foundation is made to be undetectable on camera (and to the naked eye), yet the skin looks enhanced and flawless. The formula has a slight yet pleasant scent that reminds me a little of sunscreen. I am usually a natural beige with foundation shades, so I choose the shade 140 - Soft Beige. The shade is a nice match, but I could probably afford to go one shade lighter. However, the 140 blends flawlessly into my skin tone and seems to be a nice match.

There are 26 shades to choose from, which means there is going to be a shade for you - the hard part is knowing which one to pick.

It photographs so well, and I am definitely impressed. It almost gives an airbrushed/photoshopped effect.

You can pick the HD foundation up from The Media Makeup Store for $59
