Trilogy Advanced Formula Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +

Rosehip oil is a product designed to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, stretch marks, dry skin and scarring. It's full of goodies such as Omega 3 and Omega 6 which will help your skins elasticity and softness and it also contains Beta-carotene which maintains healthy skin and and helps to repair skin from things such as sun damage.

I was a little hesitant with using Rosehip oil at first - I mean, the idea of rubbing oil all over your face night and morning doesn't sound too appealing and the thought of instant acne quickly sprung to mind. But rest assured, this product is perfectly fine for use on the face and I don't think I've read or heard of anyone breaking out from using it.

The bottle seems quite small when you first take a look but once you start using it you will release that you don't really need all that much to cover your desired areas (for me that is the face, neck and sometimes the décolletage area). The applicator resembles an eye-dropper and allows for controlled amounts of product. It's recommended that you use 2-3 drops per use, but sometimes I find that I need a few more to nicely cover the areas I feel need it.

The first thing that I notice after applying this product is how quickly my skin absorbs it. It sucks it up like I've never applied a moisturising product in my life! My skin feels so soft after application and it gives it such a beautiful, healthy glow.

I have definitely noticed a big change in my skins condition since I started using Rosehip oil and it's now a can't-live-without skincare product.

If you're looking for a moisturising product (with the added benefits of anti-ageing properties!), then I highly recommend giving Rosehip oil a try - especially if you have things such as acne scarring.

There are two different Trilogy Rosehip Oil products, one is the regular Certified Organic Rosehip Oil and the other one that I am currently using is the Advanced Formula Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +

You can pick these up in stores or online for about $29.95 (for the Antioxidant + formula - the regular oil is roughly $21-36) but if you purchase at Chemist Warehouse you get a bit of a discount and can get it for $17.99

Do you use a Rosehip oil?
Have you noticed any improvement in your skins condition since using?

  1. I love Rosehip too, but only use it at night, as I find it too rich to use on my skin during the day.
I do like this one from Trilogy, but I think my favourite is the one from Kosmea.
