Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

This beautiful foundation is so packed full of goodies, I don't quite know where to begin! You've probably heard the raves about this product and it seems to be a favourite on many peoples foundation list.

The formula contains plenty of fruity ingredients, it's almost like a fruit salad for the face: Melon for hydration, Apricot for radiance, Apple for antioxidants and Ginger for energy!

The foundation is said to  be radiance-boosting and last for 16 hours. I'm not quite sure if it actually lasts that long, as my make-up isn't on for all that long - as soon as I'm home from work, that mask is coming off!

There are  6 shades of the foundation to choose from and there seems to be a pretty good selection of colours. I currently have shade 53, which I originally thought may be a little too dark for my skin tone. However, it blends out flawlessly and once applied it actually seems to fit quite well. I could easily drop down to shade 52 though, for a better match.

The Healthy Mix Foundation gives a light to medium coverage. I tend to like more high-coverage foundations which is why it loses a few points with me. However, it's nice for those days when I don't need a full face and just want a little bit of coverage. It does have a scent to it, like other Bourjois products do but I quite liked it and I would describe it as a pretty, floral scent.

At $32 it's not cheap and it's one reason that I had previously not decided to purchase it and for just a few dollars more I can pick up a bottle of my usual ColorStay foundation.

The reviews for this product are fantastic and there are so many beauties raving about this product! You can check out some of them by clicking here.

Overall this is a beautiful foundation and it is one that I am happy to keep in my makeup bag for those days when I want to mix it up from my usual foundation routine, however I don't think this is one that I will repurchase again.

If you're looking for something like will give you a nice glow and a light to medium coverage then this is one that you should think about trying.

  1. For some reason I have never tried the Bourjois foundations, even though I do love their blusher pots!

  3. I have a weakness for bourjois packaging and have wanted to try this after hearing good things about it! It is a tad expensive though.
